Tak Malu / Tak Tau Malu?

It was way past the lunch hour still there were so many people in Kenny Rogers Roasters restaurant. Every inch was utilised and it was perfectly packed. Waited for a little while before i was given a nice window seat. I sat down before i put on my spectacles to look around. Spotted! My favourite lemongrass drink. Damn it! It has been there all the while and why couldn't i remember it?

Waved at the waiter gently before ordering my meal. I asked for macaroni and cheese eventhough i wanted the pasta garden salad. Anyway, the golden corn and carrot i craved for came as the side dish. I didn't fancy the macaroni and cheese but I'm tempted to order it each and every time when i'm in KRR restaurant. Can somebody try to explain why? Hmmm... I never miss the muffin though :)

FInished an absolutely lovely lunch cum dinner. The restaurant was still full with patrons like before. Then, there was this couple that just came and occupied the table 45 degrees to my right. The guy was holding a cup of iced lemon tea with his right hand while his left hand was clinging onto 1901 plastic bag which i assumed contained New York Chicken lah! Once they were seated, he immediately put his hotdog (still in the box) onto the table. The waiter went to get the menus for both of them. It was then i started to think, "Is he gonna do it? Is he? Is he?" The waiter came back with the menus and his partner ordered for herself while he gestured "No" to the waiter. "OMG, is he really serious?" After the waiter left, this guy surprised me with another food he had brought in. This time he took out the kuih Nyonya and put on the table. To my horror, he ate it and fed his partner somemore. "Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!! Gross!"

- Why didn't the waiter told him that no outside food is allowed?
- Even there was no signboard, this guy's face could be so thick and acted like nothing had happened and gobbled on his hotdog.
- A little bit of courtesy???
- If you own a restaurant, do you like seeing YOUR customers enjoying YOUR competitors' food at YOUR premise?

I couldn't bear the sight so i asked for the bill and headed for Pirates of the Carribean.

Weeeee.... :D

I'm very happy today.

Not because I got the chance to sleep with the lamp post.

Not because I got to dream about Donkey and Puss being my best friends

But because I had the most meaningful talk ever off the phone and the happiest talk ever on the phone, both with Autumn.

Now isn't that marvellous?

I need to go to sleep right now due to over-inhaling second-hand smoke.

Oyasumi! :)

On a day like this

A is A, B is B, there is no you and me. Heh, it rhymes! I didn't know how that came up though. :p

Seems like i'm starting to retreat from this blogosphere with me having nothing to write about. In fact, i do have tonnes of stories to pour out but either they are too personal or simply unappropriate. That's why i'd rather keep mum because a lot of KPCs out there trying to act smart and intervene my life.

Sometimes, people would question why you did this and that. Well, I did it maybe because that was the right thing to do? Frankly, there are things i can't explain simply because they do not have a definite answer. Like can you explain to me, which comes first, chicken or egg, heh?

Whatever it is, i have no intention of hurting anyone. I love those who are important to me dearly. A choice is always a choice. To cut it short, you will know what to do when you are in my position.

Btw, what have i got myself into? I had the opportunity between designing and research. Designing is definitely my strength but stoopid me had chosen the latter. Thesis is damn freaking hard, man. *SiGh* Can someone shed me some lights on this last hurdle of mine?

The Unseen Hands

A nice massage or a grade-A movie like Spidey?

Can i be greedy and have both?

?

?

Apparently, YES!

With RM17, I have OSIM i-Medic with Health-being to Well-being programs squeezing my back. But the one on the head was kinda painful for me. Full-body massage was good and Acupuncture was great.

For the duration of the entire movie, it was definitely a steal and what can i say? Ditch the popcorn and Gold Class is not really worthed it after all ;p

Healthy Aging

Watched Martha Stewart's show last night. She had a guest, Dr. Weil who wrote the book "Healthy Aging". I'm sure from the title you know what it means. During the show, an audience asked Dr.Weil this question. "At what age do you suggest to use anti-aging products?" I assumed the pretty lady was referring to anti-aging skincare products that we could find in the market nowadays. Then, Dr. Weil answered "no" politely. He continued by explaining aging is something everyone has to go through and it is absurd to go against the nature trying your very best with every medical products to look young. Thus, it is okay to grow old. Dr. Weil suggested that we human should eat healthily and exercise regularly because that's how you can slow down the aging process.

At this point, I was thinking, "This Dr. Weil hor, talked adi like talk nothing. But hor, anti-aging skincare products help to slow down aging process too, rite? Hmm... then can or cannot use leh?"

Dr. Weil also showed how to make healthy soup which i had forgotten the soup name obviously cos it looked more like a paste. All i could remember was roasting some apples and some winter-dunno-what and blend everything together. Voila! Some orange-squashy-mushy soup. He even made a green paste to go with the soup which to me was paste-with-paste. Eeeeyakkk... The soup looked like some baby's puke or better, more like baby's food. You know, that type of disgusting sticky paste. Eh, wait.. i found the recipe adi! And the picture too! Ewee... Here it goes: YuckySoup .

Anyway, i absolutely love her website cos it's totally like my cuppa tea. From food, to craft and gardening. Btw, i don't mind growing old as long as i grow wiser too. It would be pointless having to keep a bimbo face at the age of 40 with empty thoughts. Definitely don't want to be Maria Gianni or Janice Dickinson. Cos their face look like overdosed on Botox. ;p
