Library
I had trouble sleeping yesterday night despite an entire hectic day that had drained almost everything out of me. I tried listening to Light&Easy but it didn't quite work. I felt like reading but certainly not my notes or any white papers. If i was to touch those, I could have guaranteed I'll be having a sleepless night and waking up the next day with neck pain and troubled mind. I was kinda disappointed as I had already finished all my Harry Potter series (which means no more anticipation). Then only i remembered my DVC had been sitting on the rack and collecting dust for ages! I took the book and flipped to the first page. The book has fact written on it. Anyway, the book looks thick but as i proceeded, only i realised it was nothing compared to Order of Phoenix or even Half-Blood Prince. Hey, only then I was quite surprised that I actually finished TWO thick books, reading page by page every night given i'm not really a book-lover person myself. (A round of applause for me please ;D) For DVC, i'll try to read it slowly because i've found out that i need a "night companion" before i go to sleep. I hope to read more books but certainly nothing related to studies. Guess i have to wait until i no longer carry the title "Student".
I've also discovered the library in my uni has loads of interesting books. Again, throughout my SO many years of studying, I've never stepped into the library more than 5 times. I was literally forced to borrow the CRM book last semester only I was there. It was the first time for me stepping into my uni's library and already got "kantoi". The librarian said my skirt too short. Damn la, it was knee-length. The most KPC Jason asked me to defend myself by telling the librarian I'm a staff there. My second library experience was when the librarian in IPSR didn't allow me to enter simply because i didn't have my ID card displayed. I took out from my wallet and showed her but she insisted me on hanging the card around my neck. Damn F la, where was i supposed to find a string and hang the bloody plastic card around my neck? See, see, see... I've got such bad experience with library for the 1st and 2nd time already. Do you think i still wanna go near that "sueh" place?
