This is where I am now
My exam finished exactly a month ago. All i could remember was having fun but at the same time packing and unpacking things. After i came back from Genting, i had many things to settle with FICT (aiyerr.. reminds me that i need to get back my caution money from the bursary office) such as attending the career fair and getting pictures taken at the lounge (PB block is such a cool place now!~) specially built for alumni.
Besides, I've worked as a part-timer on weekend too juz to help my cousin. Well, what can i say? It was kinda unbearable. By the end of the day, I couldn't feel both my legs anymore and it went on for 2 consecutive days. Luckily I couldn't make it the following week (coz gotta go back for my grandma's birthday) and had LK covered the job for me. She too complained like hell when i asked her about it. Btw, grandma's big birthday had to cancel because she fell and her head hit the edge of the staircase. Sounded bloody, huh? Thank God neither she bled nor her skull cracked. Father called it a miracle cos he heard a loud thud at that time and prepared for the worst but grandma is fine as usual right now. I'm glad too =)
Had my Redang Island trip (a memorable one) too and that's why i'm darkened a few shades right now. Snorkelling wasn't bad but i still prefer swimming. hehe.. we played games and losers either had to drink vodka or choose truth or dare actions. Lemon prepared 2 bottles of vodka he got from Langkawi. WS was really terrible that he wouldn't let me sleep unless i lose a single game. Yea, guys' purpose was to see me drink. And till the end, i had lost like only 3 games out of N times i guessed. Those vodkas were real baddddd.. It took me a long time to gulp down that "evil" stuff. It was burning my throat but the D.O.M experience i had last time was much much more terrible than this!! That one was practically a "forest fire" of dunno how many degree cos i couldn't get the whole sip in my mouth down the throat. Argh...wouldn't wanna recall that. The morning we were about to leave Redang Island, i saw Mike's gang (they were all from DCN) came. It was really a coincidence or perhaps destiny cos haven't seen them for 2 yrs already. Exchanged a few hellos and boarded on the boat. Half way the journey, my heart dropped as i realised i had left my necklace, bracelet and anklet in the drawer. Then i thought about Mike!!! I was really really really lucky you know... I had one of his fren's number. I met that girl in Management Principles class. She was the one asking for my number a few months back when i bumped into her. (Thank you so so much SFui!) I went to get my jewelry at her home a few days later. To my surprise, i didn't see my pendant attached to my necklace. SFui told me it wasn't there when it was given to her. Sigh~~~ took the whole incident as a lesson. ( pay quite a hefty price lerr..) I wasn't sure what was wrong with me. It was as if i got this amnesia suddenly. The first incident occurred when i bought things from JJ. After i paid the cashier, i juz walked away without taking my goods and then only i realised i didn't have it. Second incident was i bought things at a shop in SS2, and then got into my car and wanna say bye-bye already. Guess what? The woman came out chasing me and gave me the goods...Ya Allah...what's wrong with me?
Initially, i planned to work in July. Bro was a bit anxious than i am. He asked me to apply now so that in June ppl would call me up for interviews and i could start working in July. Well, told ya i'm an obeyer so i simply applied a few at JobStreet.com. After 2 days, i received a reply from Company X to attend an interview. My schedule was really pack that time but i went for it juz to gain experience. After the 1st interview, the guy hinted that he wanna hire me. Then it was Company Y's turn the following day. ( they really give SHORT notice!) Actually i had my whole month planned out and those interviews were slotted in last minute which kinda tired me off since i gotta rush here and there. Anyway, it also turned out that Company Y wanted me too. By the time the 3rd company called, which is Company Z, i already jual mahal and dunwan to attend the interview already.. hehe.. no lerr..actually the interview time crashed with my schedule and they couldn't arrange a new one for me so i rejected. Company X called me for a 2nd interview which involved IQ test. After I finished the paper, I handed to the interviewer. He didn't even look at the paper but instead he looked at me and said "Actually i'm goin to hire you, you know. I'm goin to hand-in your application to Dato today and wait for him to sign it." My jaw juz dropped and my eyes were staring wide at him and i uttered "Serious?". He replied "yea, yea." That's the end of it.. Company X and Company Y, both are big companies and listed on KLSE.. It was really a hard decision to make. I consulted all of my family members and their answer was "Up to you." I didn't expect to strike on the 1st interview and somemore the 2nd too. I didn't even wanna work in June. I only went back to my home for 4 days for grandma's birthday. I was planning a long rest at home after my trips. Really in a dilemma. Anyway, i've decided to give Company X a try (cos it's not easy to get a job at the moment) and give myself a chance. Let's see what will happen after 6 months probation. Either i will get fired or I fire them. hehehe... Wish me luck though~ So, in 2 more days i'm goin to enter the ever-starving monster world and Mr. Martin will be my superior. (i'm keeping my fingers crossed)
