Syok and Shocked Giler/ Kesian kat perut aku/ Tidak tertakrif
Retro Rewind: Back to last Saturday. Remember the live performances that I had mentioned? It was really gRrreaaaatttt!!! Every band was good and everyone was really brilliant! I personally like the second band cos the drummer sounded like the one in Toy Soldiers by Eminem (gave me a different-from-others feeling) and the band with pants-dropping vocalist cos they had added a bit of jazz inside which was soothing to listen to. The one that included a guy sitting on the floor playing those that looked like “kompang” (don’t know what you call that but it definitely gives me those Asian+Reshmonu feel) was not bad either. I couldn’t hear those bands’ names cos the vocalists were practically eating their mics rather than speaking properly. The worst would be the band rendering Green Day’s American Idiot…wah.. dat one really one in a million. All together 3 members added up oso into the tak boleh category. There was even a guy in the audience that AC said looked like Snoop Dogg but I said he looked more like Shaggy.. He was enjoying himself at the front there. (shaking his head and throwing hair around) But our jaws dropped opened when his turn to perform wif his band!! He was great and even thanked us when we left. I also couldn’t imagine how did a song like “My Heart Will Go On” being modified into ala Deftones type!!!???? Muahaha… AC, we tot the song title was M*s*******on. We were so wrong!!! Instead we were duped!!! Now that I remembered, dat guy was actually joking with Snoop Dogg. (Eh, AC, u shud have known Sunni doesn’t tune to this channel. Though she had given us a Boeing 747, next time we ask MQ along cos we are in the same path, k ;) Btw, MoodBox’s CD is not bad, rite?) MoodBox’s performance I wouldn’t wanna rate it cos the vocalist tried to shout like Chester. Instead of “Shut Up” he shouted “CRYYYY”. (sampai gegendang telinga nak pecah) But the CD they distributed was great. The show lasted for 4-5 hours and by the end of it, my head was a bit “wing wing dei”. (means a bit dizzy)
JL told me things in UK are expensive. Wanted to give her a surprise by sending a parcel with food inside instead I had asked too much. (cos never send a parcel to overseas before, only within M’sia maaa...) Anyway, it was raining heavily when I went to the post office. Finally, reached there and myself including the parcel were a bit wet. I handed the parcel to a Malay guy and he calculated the total. When he told me the price, I was shocked! *_* It was triple the amount JL told me. I started to panic cos I didn’t have that much money with me. And I didn’t think it was appropriate to say “boleh bagi balik tak?”. That second seemed like forever. I almost spilled out “Terima kad tak?” (desperate already…) only to find I actually had enoughy money. (JL, you are right. Itu senior punya civil servant memang “pandai” help me to calculate. Eh, dun feel bad, ok? Hope u like what I’ve sent and watch out for the second one yaa ;D)
Yesterday. Marathon classes. Test at 8am but rested for barely 5 hrs cos I was damn nervous. (didn’t know why I was nervous, probably the first test after such a long time) After the test, it was immediately followed by a lecture class. Then AH asked me to join Beta’s lecture class. I was a bit reluctant cos joining means I got no breakkie since I had a tutorial class later and I preferred my own Alpha group..but I din know how to say “No” to her and I fell bad if I were to say it out. Well, it went on the whole day until 2pm without stopping and after that I still had to discuss DSS assignment with my classmates. (7 hrs straight down only with a bottle of mineral water and a bread in the tummy before 8am) My tummy was numb by the time I finished everything cos I didn’t feel hungry adi. Anyway, forced something into my throat (though I wasn’t hungry) just to prevent myself from fainting. Gonna chill myself out tomoro and have a nice meal at GB wif that “degree holder konon” to compensate all these tortures I had gone thru ;D
Yes, my mood now is excited until can hit the ceiling adi.. I am very happy until I do not know how to define it cos CNY is less than a week, I’ve finished my DW presentation, gone through my DSS test and now I can take a deep breath. But have to prepare for the worst after CNY cos everything will be like bullet train by then. I’m taking my long CNY break and will be back wif more news. Wishing everyone has a nice CNY k! ;)
p/s: Baby crabs anyone?
