Unexpected visitors
The first case : WH told me he was in town and would be going back to KL the next day. The next thing i knew, he was actually heading for my house with his friends after bumming around the city. We haven't really spoke to each other after so many times we have met in the Uni. Not to mention we were in the same course during diploma and met each other frequently as his tutorial classes were ahead of mine. Anyway, after telling his friend the direction to my house, they just appeared in less than 5 minutes. How bizzarre! 11.30 pm the clock said and i was actually reluctant to get out from my house. I knew i couldn't escape this but to go along with it. You're not going to turn down someone who came from so far away rite? So out we went for a drink a.k.a "yum cha" which i haven't done in ages. (I think TW will be the 1st one feeling very disappointed because he never really successfully persuaded me to go for a drink. Hehe..) Wait a minute, not in ages actually. Chun successfully forced me out of my house for a drink a couple months back. Boy, he is one jackass! But he had wasted 30 minutes to talk me out of it. Gosh, or was i the jackass by listening to him? Never mind. Back to WH's friends. There were 3 of them and the driver is one daring chick! You should have seen the way she overtook all the cars on the double-line along Tanjung Bendahara. It was worse than a roller-coaster ride and i was keeping my fingers crossed damn hard. The 15 seconds ordeal seemed like a never-ending story. I'm not hoping for this kind of ride anymore.
Anyway, we reached the place safely. But there's a joke his friend made hit me for a while. It went something like when a couple that had been together for the first 3 months, the male would tell the female "Call me when you're home.". After a year, it would go like "Sms me when you're home.". After 3 years, it would change to "Missed call me when you're home.". After 5 years, it would just go "Be careful.". I found the joke to be half true. I once read somewhere that said, "No matter how hot and steamy a relationship is in the first place, it will eventually fade out after a couple of years." After my own experience, i couldn't agree more and i really looked up to those old married couples. How did they do that? Perhaps the word "commitment" hasn't appear in my life yet? Or am i too young to understand the true meaning of "commitment"? Serena C's opinion on Pillow Talk definitely woke me up.
Finally when everyone was "low bat", we decided to leave. I was glad since I was out from morning till late evening that day.
The second case : Relatives from SP came over to my house. Haven't seen this grand aunt for a long time since her husband passed away 4 years ago. The whole family came with 3 little children. I am so afraid of little kids nowadays except for my own nieces. I really don't understand why kids nowadays are so NAUGHTY!!! There are 3 families in my list that whenever they come over with their grandchildren, I choose to hide inside my room. Because either they will turn my house upside down or eat whatever titbits (mine, of course) they find. If they don't get what they want, they will whine like hell.
It was the very first time i saw the family in my entire whole life except for the grand aunt. Nevertheless, they had been added to my list to become the 4th family. What have the kids done? Well, NOTHING much. First, they let my doggie loose in the neighbourhood. Yeah, they actually did that. Luckily, Gigi is now old and doesn't really dare to wander to the malay's neighbourhood. Secondly, they asked for cartoons.(Oh boy, cartoons reminded me of yet another incident) Thirdly, they tried to kill my Patrick and Mr. Incredible. I wasn't sure whether they tried to put a hand on my Elmo too. Fourth, they tried to challenge my dog. How dare! My doggie barked at them yet they were still not afraid. I remembered Gigi once bit my neighbour on the nose cos she messed her up. Finally, the titbits were all happily in their stomachs. Brat, twit, menace. Whatever you would like to call them. The one and only thing they didn't do was trying to get upstairs or jumping down from the staircase. Thank God!
Hmm... What a chaos. I would prefer my father's friends who brought their children along to visit rather than relatives. At least they behaved well. I really couldn't imagine what would these children do at home. I remembered when i was small, no matter which house we visited, my bros and i would always stay very quiet. We would only asked our father those who, what, why questions when were we curious about something. Other than that, our mind would be thinking "When are we going home?". We wouldn't "ransack" people's house or tried to poke our noses into everything. We wouldn't even ask for tv or food unless people offered you. But children in this century are totally opposite and different. Sigh~ After the ordeal, I didn't hope for anything better the next time but i did hope that these children would understand the meaning of manner when they grow up.
Oh, got a surprise from WW. He posts me a porno movie. Did i say porno? Hehe.. He's nuts. Those acoustic mp3s are a bonus! Thank you so so much! Regarding the movie, he said it would be similar to American Beauty. You would learn something at the end of the movie. So, it's not everytime about sex ok. There are many other things aside from that.
p/s: aunt made my favourite glutinous rice ball =)
i thought i wouldn't have the chance to eat them since mum wasn't around.
